Clematis Dr Ruppel is offered in a full gallon size with free shipping! It's a truly outstanding cultivar with compact growth and heavy flowering that is perfect for containers. It makes a good cut flower and the seedheads are beautiful, too! Blooms in late spring and again in late summer. This selection is more shade tolerant than most writers will say. We grew one directly underneath the north side of a Blue Atlas Cedar which was flanked by Maples and Poplars. It never failed to bloom there.
